I call her today's "Queen Of Jug band Music". She sounds stronger than ever today, with her currant band "The Garden of Joy Jug Band". In the sixty's, she sang and recorded with The Even Dozen Jug Band(Stefan Grossman,David Grisman,Joshua Rifkin,John Sabastian) and also with Jim Kweskins Jug Band, and she was a major inspiration & influence to many female vocalists that came out of the early folk and rock & roll scenes in NYC , and across the country back in the mid sixties to the early seventies. Some of her big hits include-Sweet Lovin' Old Soul; I ain't Gonna Mary; I'm a Woman; Don't you take My Leg; Midnight at The Oasis(# 1 on US Billboard)
