I had the pleasure to meet Fred in Indianapolis in 1966. We spent many hours listening to his extensive record collection a large portion of which he transcribed to tape for me. A large portion of that material has still not be re-released. He gave me copies of numerous photographs that have never been published. I maintained correspondence with Fred until his death.
